Google is arguably still the most widely used search engine on the internet, and finding alternative ways to amuse yourself with Google has become something of a cult activity in recent years. These games are known as Google Hacks, and you can find a great one here.

Do not panic about the term "hack", these games are just using the search facility in different ways, and the results can often prove an interesting insight into humanity.

Google Talk is the game I want to highlight. Basically you type the first few words of a sentence into the box - for example, "I like to dance on", then click Start.

The applet then uses those words as a search string in Google and takes the first word that appears at the end of that sentence, on the first result it finds, and adds it to the next search string - bumping the word at the beginning.

It sounds confusing, I know, but have a play. All will become very clear.
